not sure why they would have painted over stripes if was survivor.
The "3" in the vin# looks modified or is a blurred photo.

4:05 "they sprayed primer on it to protect it".
I find issues with the description vs pictures
Reminds me of the 1969 SS 350 Camaro that my best friend's mom drove for years back in the 1980's.
I thought the whole car was primer, not just the stripes. Lots of non-original parts under the hood, including a replacement motor.
One mans unrestored survivor, is another mans needs everything restored.
I agree with this...
The engine pictures are showing a 365hp rating on the valve covers. I thought this engine was only used/available in the 1966 Chevelle offerings. ???
So either replacement valve covers are being used, or the engine was replaced. Again....????
It was also used in '64 and '65 Corvettes.
Overpriced.
Agreed. Thats alot of money for a car thats going to need repainted at minimum.

And really have no idea what u have or not have per their ad.
Not enough info to even comment on it.

Tag is
NOR 218761
713 69 69
01B X22
Is the underside of the hood usually black? Just noticed what also appears as a test patch of primer under the hood and possibly fire damaged peeling paint.
The more I look at it, the more questions I have.
the tach looks like a 5.5k7k. how does one absolutely confirm a big block car?
1. documentation for original purchase.
2. ?
On a 67 trim tag will say. 68.. crap shoot, 69 if its a NOR car built after 2nd week of Dec (12B) will have X22 or X66 on trim tag. Assuming the tag is legit of course.
Me: curious if you have any documentation to prove its a 396 car?
Seller: Thanks for looking but car sold.
I get the same response a lot when I ask Camaro guys for info on cars they are selling. They ask top dollar, plus some kind of its a POS tax with no interior, and then don't want to spend 2 seconds authenticating the car at all.
You would think a little time spent authenticating and documenting a car like that would go a long way w/a sale.
...next.
so many people watch Barrett Jackson and Mecum and think any muscle car is gold. They don,t understand how easy it is to add SS or Z28 emblems.
A 1969 Camaro SS 396 sold on BAT last year:
