Title: Steering column lower bearing original 1967
Post by: almos on October 30, 2023, 07:43:33 AM
Hello.
I having trouble to put back together my steering column. It's 5 years since I took it apart and I remember I  took apart the lower bearing assembly, but I can't find the pics how it looked like. Anyone has a good quality photo of the original 67 Camaro non tilt, column  bearing?
Thank you

Aw Snap, Your separated the Races and Cage and Balls.  I was not aware that this was "serviceable".  While cleaning mine in a solvent tank balls fell out and the were no longer 'spherical' and the entire bearing required replacement. Heartbeat and SS396.com are sources.

I've replaced the lower bearing with the upgraded one. Ground Up and others have it.

Ground Up & ss396 are one in the same which is where I got my replacement.
