Positive cable terminal end with the alignment tab? Posting on .net as well. Shown in the AIM as part of the cable assy...for 6 and 8s.
I have found ABSOLUTLY No source for the Crimped, Ring Terminals with Locating Fingers.
Even Lectric Limited "Claims" to manufacture (GM Licensed) to GM drawings yet they do not even have the precision or fortitude to get the details right.
The Locating Finger on the "Ring" of the terminal was engineered specifically to properly Clock and Lock the Cable in a arraignment and routing to prevent rotational creep and misalignment of the cable that would then result in chaffing on adjacent vehicle and engine structure promoting insulation wear and possible Positive Cable Grounding which resulted in Meltdown and fire (i.e. Liability)
I was in the Electrical Industry (US Naval Marine) & NONE of the companies, AMP Industries, Tyco Electrical, Pico, Thomas & Betts, 3M, ABB, Burndy, Eaton, Panduit. Offer this Automotive version.
I WILL stand corrected if someone can find current Repops.
My L35 Positive Cable has this tab, but the Spring-ring need refreshing, Lectric Limited will NOT perform Repairs to ANY existing wiring, which is understandable.
Indy, you know what I know. And the nice lady at Lectric said "made to spec". She says send me a picture...you spree it. I sent pictures of the AIM drawing. No got....Lectric doesn't make the cables due to working with lead. They sub it out. Thought I had a lead on a used one...nope. Thanks for responding. Well see what pops up.
Is this it? Close but......

While not exactly the same, it's pretty darned close. Attentive eyes will know the difference, but it's certainly better than not having it on the end of the cable. Not sure on the sizes as shown in the picture as in comparison to the original. Would it work??...probably, if sizes are correct. Expensive though.
Thanks HOG...I emailed them with a picture. I'll let you know.
You could make a blueprint and have them water jetted, then retire on the profits.
HOG-their answer was no.
1968 L35 Auto (LOS)
Missing the Spring Ring, but has the Ring tongue terminal with locating leg intact.
Different tab location than say a 6 cyl positive cable account of routing etc.
Indy, would that 396 tab add power to my engine?
I'm getting closer by thinking outside the box of the box.
When I had my 1967 230 Turbo-Thrift, I was ALL about finding a 292 Truck Six to gain some torque so the Six popper would at least get out of its own way. This was from 1979-1984. I scored a 396 Car in 1983 and have never looked back.
