Title: Another Bring A Trailer 1969

Chassis number shows 123379 L6. Ad says it was originally an inline 6. Trim tag shows 124379 with interesting rivets.

Don't be afraid to post the entire VIN - 123379N547073 - and that tag doesn't belong on that car.

Thanks, Ed.  Could these issues make registering this car a problem in some states?

No, not really. As long as the VIN on the title matches the VIN on the car you're okay. Most (if not all) department of motor vehicle departments don't even care about the trim tag.

Some of them inspect the rivets on the VIN tag. Not unusual to see this warning at auction.

That cowl tag is one of the newer reproduction cowl tags and not original to the car.
