I have this available to the car, Ed
124379L520222
Not in the CRG db or on Google.
Willing to bet thousands of cars are not in in a database or Google. If I did not submit data and pics to Kurt those cars would not be entered. Many cars have been through my shop.
I agree. Relatively few of the cars listed in the CRG db are known to exist. I track '69s online and at auction; 20% of auction cars and 6% of cars seen on-line are in the db. Every week I add data.
The CRG db was not meant to be a registry. It is a repository of data. It contains information on 272 '69s from dealership records; very few of those cars [3%] are known to exist. I know of three original owner '69s in the area. Have never been on-line anywhere. Plenty of unknown cars out there.
I use the data to re-construct production calendars at both assembly plants. Could use more '69 Van Nuys data: VIN, body tag, broadcast copy date and NCRS if available. PM me, data remains private.
WOW WOW WOW!!! I thought I entered my two camaro's data many years back. I must not have. Well, seeing as I own 9L520222 I need to go buy some lottery tickets tonite! I am reaching out to Ed. Hoping to get this motor back with this LeMans Blue RS/Z28 basket case!
This would be Nice, wishing you both the best.
Cool & interesting.
Steve ? Better call me quickly. I made a verbal agreement with a local buyer :-\
Wow, hope this engine can be reunited with the original car.
Steve did call me and we are working on arrangements to get his original motor to him. This is a Cali. car still and the motor is with me in CT. lol 8)
Belated follow up. The engine block has been reunited with the car. A big shout out to Ed. He's a stand up guy and a hardcore muscle car enthusiast!
Awesome,...I love a happy ending.
Congratulations to all involved. It's always nice to hear of cars being reunited with their original parts.
Really great to see they're reunited!
