here are a couple pics of two 67 big block driveshafts we have . The one with the green stripe is from an la car and the other is one we picked up somewhere. it has the stencil numbers and they were orange. looks to be a service replacment
sorry for some reason the 2nd pic didnt come through
Big block 67/8 4 speed cars had orange, green & white stripes.

Well i dont know what to tell you . This drive shaft came out of a real 67 big block car and is around 50 1/2 ". If they only came in what you are saying why are there no colors listed for those cars on the chart
I wasn't saying it was wrong. My point is this is new data. From what I recalled 67-8 bb 4 speeds were orange green white. Could this be remnants of orange?
We have submitted John L's (LOS-1967 SSRS 396/375) Drive shaft as data & it is a big Green "Spotch" in addition to the Three stripes.
43k mile car hidden away since 1982.
It appears to only had one green stripe and some pink on the tranny yoke
Outer lock retainers?
yes
Here is a pic of the other drive shaft with stenciled numbers. Hope the pic comes through

I was asking similar question myself not too long ago? ...i was informed by reliable sources that the chart maybe left this out?
Photo
(BELOW) appears in the driveshaft report (maybe half-page below the chart?)
not intending to contradict anybody... only sharing info. that might help someone?
another reference point w/same data...
Excerpted from article in Camaro Enthusiast magazine (March 1998); "MIKE ROSSI TECH PHOTOS-1967 Details"
That 1998 article is certainly dated. Amazing how much info has been gathered since that point.
plumL78 - My 68 (12D of 67) also has a driveshaft with the stencil and only seeing one orange stripe and a couple white marks. Could it be that production was running low and they pulled or maybe the supplier added the part # off and on or was it replaced under warranty.?. Probably never know for certain but certainly interesting.
