Title: 396 Air cleaner decal

Did the original 396 and 302 air cleaner decals have Made In The USA printed on the bottom? I see some repops have it and some do not  . Thanks

I think Even beyond that the Vintage decals (i.e. Factory) are printed on a different substrate (i.e. paper), but it is surprising how different the various decal offerings are from the originals.

Given that repop is the only route for me, I steer clear of the ones missing the "PRINTED IN USA."

Yes the originals have printed in the USA on them, the printing of this should be quite fine and legible. The originals are printed on metallized wet strength paper and occasionally pop up on ebay.

As for repros... I wish I could find something printed on the original substrate.
