Could casting number 3956618 be original on a 1969 Norwood 06A X44 body when the pad is stamped T0609HD?

Yes. That's later than most for that casting number but I think it's possible. Try to get other block information if you can.

All June tags are 06A, can you post the vin and a picture of the engine pad stamp & casting date?

IMO - a "618" block is not the norm in a June car , most all known originals are "010" block casting.

For Flint blocks, I would generally agree.

This is a Tonawanda block. There are known Tonawanda 350 blocks with the 3956618 casting in June built cars.

Agreed being a Tonawanda block, but I would still like to know the casting date and see a picture of the pad.

At first I didn't know what you meant, but I see data for the body number is not complete in the pic. No need to do that.
