It's a nice new shiny stamp
Love your wording!!
Nice shiny surface on the block deck, too. Never knew the deck broach was so perfect a cutting tool not to leave some kind of marks - impressive.
Regards (and as always, JMO),
Steve
Also most all pictures are beautiful high-resolution shots... EXCEPT the block stamps. They are always slightly blurry, rolled focus and in this case... in a shaded low light position. Where it is impossible to see any broaching. That surface is smooth as a baby's bottom! Edges are NOT rough at all... :o ... Danny
All things considered, if it really were a L34 Pacer it would be rare, even a L35 4 speed Pacer is really rare, believe it or not they built VERY FEW BB convertibles in 1969.
Unfortunately, just like black Z/28's.....they're still building them!!

Hard to prove BB with pacer...
" the percentage of 396 pace cars as between 15-20%, or approximately 550 to 735 cars."
What is your approx figure of total BB convertibles built?
I have under 1500 units total.
Right around 1300.
It's amazing to think that there were more 396 conv pacers than there were all other combos.
And without paper or original drive train they are the most difficult to prove as real.
