Title: 1/4 inch vapor return hose
Post by: hdptsr on March 30, 2021, 03:30:48 PM
What is the length of the short hose that connects the (AC fuel fuel) filter to the metal vapor return line on the 1969 Camaro on 350 SS.  Are the squeeze fuel line clips suppose to be painted red?

Red = 1/4"
Black = 5/16"
Green = 3/8"
Black = 1/2"

The above is just a guess? as to Color code to diameter of hose / lines.

I will measure the Length tonight of the line in question, but of the top of my head it is really short length of hose.

Do I need to worry about the hard gas line Rubbing on the water pump housing or on the timing chain cover?  It is just kind of propped against them.  There is a clip to hold the vapor return line and hard fuel line together.  They are pretty rigid, just don't like the metal on metal.

I have no concerns, given how ridged the set up is and really have not seen any report from the L48 Crowd.
