JIM
Hi Jim,I bought mine 4 or 5 years ago through Camaro Central, but I see they are discontinued.Mitch
T.Y. Got one from a Vendor in FL. he had a New- (OLD) Disc repop made by Goodmark. Pebble version.
I will add photo and P/N later
Looks better in person. No Holes drilled will use Chicks layout on his build thread.
Stock looks Old 2004.
Would Be nice if Goodmark could make another run of these.

James,
I cross referenced the number below and nothing pulled up in my system or inventory. The only spoiler I see for this make and model is a spoiler that uses braces. Unfortunately, I do not have an ETA on when or if we would be manufacturing a particular part again.
Thank you,
Skyla

Hi Jim, yes those dimensions came off a local 2nd owner 68Z survivor. I purchased our spoiler from Heartbeat but that was over six years ago. Seemed to fit the needs with correct texture etc.
I got it mounted to a NOS replacement front STD-Valance
P.S. I rechecked with Goodmark and they still refer you to the second design smooth spoiler that uses support rods. I think they have no interest in reproducing the correct first design version.
I found this earlier posting on CRG about the 1968 front spoiler and whether spoilers used on other period cars had a problem with the spoilers bending at high speed:

My 1970 BOSS 302 Mustang still has it's original front spoiler that uses no brackets and has a pebble finish.
I have an original front spoiler 3916673 on my 1968 and it has a pebble grain (i.e., Madrid grain). However, I just checked the Classic Industries web site and see that they have a front spoiler that may work. It's listed as "153086 - 1967-68 Camaro, Firebird; Front Spoiler; with Textured Grain; Bolt On" under Product #153086 for $26.99 each. Here's the web site link: https://www.classicindustries.com/product/1968/chevrolet/camaro/parts/153086.html
Interestingly, Classic Industries lists an OER reproduction front spoiler as 3916673 and "Factory Correct" but with a "correct smooth finish." This is incorrect based on GM documents. As a side note, OER embosses their logo and the part number "3916673" on the back of their reproduction spoiler where it is clearly visible...not good for concours show cars. I am not aware if the Classic Industries #153086 spoiler has similar embossing. The first RPO D80 front spoiler was listed in the 1967 AIM on UPC D80, Sheet A1, as 3916673. The 1968 AIM did not show RPO D80 but the installation was the same. However, per Chevrolet Parts History Catalog P&A 30H (1973, January), page 173, 3943249 superseded 3916673 in July 1968...the last two months of the 1968 model year.
The initial "factory correct" front spoiler, 3916673, had the pebble grain (i.e., Madrid grain). The later front spoiler ("Factory Correct" only for the last two months of the 1968 model year), 3943249, had the smooth finish. Hopefully OER and Classic Industries corrects these two items and gets rid of all non-original embossing.

The initial front spoiler (i.e., "extension") did not have braces...as depicted in the 1967 AIM, UPC D80, Sheet A1. It was attached to the front bumper valence panel with only five 456766 screws as well as the existing center 9780422 screw (depicted as Item #5 on 67 AIM, UPC 11-13, Sheet A5.

Heartbeatcity sells one that looks pebble grain and uses no rods.

Also need to some extent consider the "SHAPE" of the spoiler.
i.e. the corner seems 'softer' than some of the repops.
I might be splitting hairs here..
This recent photo is a great new discovery.
We had a loaded up survivor 68 at the camaro nationals several years back when we were in Frederick Md. It had the short pebble grain spoiler and it was attached with staples. There was no question it came that way. The staples were like the ones that hold the shields on the front inner wheelhouses.
