Is the partial VIN and engine assembly stamping original or a restamp?

Timing is O.K., fonts look plausible, but the pad has been hacked up to the point where it's tough to see if there are any broach lines visible on the pad. Not easy to make a declaration of validity, just a matter of personal opinion. We'll see what other opinions say -
