For a Camaro, were CE stamped short blocks assembled at Flint and held in Chevrolet inventory to be shipped upon receipt of a dealer warranty claim or were the CE stamped short blocks assembled after a warranty claim was received and then shipped to the dealer?
John and I discussed this a while back. With the size of the distribution system and the time sensitive job of getting the car back on the road, the main warehouses had to have the blocks in inventory.
