I am looking at a 480 distributor with a date code of 8L24= November 24 1968  is this a good date code or is it a restamp?

Nov 24 1968 was a Sunday, did they build anything on weekends?

I have not seen this in person yet ,it was not on my list of good date codes,possible restamp.What would be agood date for a 12a (DEC 1968 1st week) Norwood built 69 Z28 (8K30) ?
