Unfortunately, crooks are in our hobby. This reminds me of a well known Mopar shop in the San Fernando Valley (L.A.), that was raided a number of years ago for VIN tampering. The alleged indictment were from complaints he would turn 6 cylinder/340/383 cars into 426 Hemi's by altering the VIN, and selling them as such. I do not know if the owner was convicted or not. Bottom line, IF it seems too good to be true, its usually not. Buyer beware!

Probably just the tip of the iceberg. Glad there is a site like this with knowledgeable people to give guidance.

I told people about this guy years ago after being contacted by a guy in Ca. that had paid him 70K up front to have a ZL1 built for him. Was a nightmare for him.

Thanks! I was thinking of having a ZL-1 Replicar built. :( Guess I'll have to build it myself. :)
