Anybody have a 1968 dash pad recovered in blue. My interior is medium blue and I'm thinking bright blue isn't going to work. That's the only blue they offer for 68(looks the same as 67 bright blue). If you had one redone was it the correct color. I'm thinking I'm going to have to dye it!
Thanks Paul
Paul, I sent my green one (for a ivy gold int) to them and they did a pretty close match. However, they didn't send a sample for me to look at first. I told them to do their best to match what was left on the underside that wasn't faded.
Does Knoch strip off the soft parts of the dash and rebuilt it up and recover it? ie... is it 'restored' to original condition and is it detectable afterwards?
If Al Knoch does dash pads like deluxe door panels, they're beautiful....Joe
Here is some previous discussion about the pads including a few pics of mine.

My understanding is they take everything down to the metal frame add new foam and mold the new covering. I sent them a couple sample from the original pad, they are going to look for a match. I don't know what that means. I got the impression they would look at other manufactures colors for a match. Paul
Noticed he doesn't show '69 Camaros on the website and only '69 Firebird in red. I would like to use them when my green dash pad needs refurbishing. Know there is a good reason, but wondering why he doesn't redo the '69's. Would rather use them than the repops I read about.
