Hi
New too site
I have a damaged broadcast sheet ,can't read top two lines so no vin or model number.
It looks like it has a lot of 69 z28 codes and codes 5AO14A , 5Z11AA at the bottom of page ?
any info would be appreciated
cheers
Warren
A01 is soft-ray tinted glass all round.
711 is black standard bucket seat interior (it's 711 not Z11).
E70x15 Tires on Rally wheels.
Awesome thank you that fits with the car
cheers
couple more codes ?
box 178 is AL ?
box 258 BV is 4.10 posi ?
top of broadcast sheet
Flat hood, power steering, 4.10 rear.
It's easier / better if you just scan it. :)
Ok will try that
thanks Kurt
69 broadcast sheet
Is that from a 'flatbed scanner' ?? or a camera? Have you tried putting it between two pieces of glass to 'flatten' it out??
photo not the best sorry,If you look closely it is sitting in an old photo album and after 29 years its stuck to the page .
Previous owner took it off the fuel tank but I can't read the top two lines so am unable to match to the car.
LA car sent to Harry Manns Chevrolet built on 24/4/69
drive train gone so I have just a piece of paper
Two previous owners say Z28Mm22 4.10 posi rear, have leads and trying to track down gear box ,engine long gone in 70s rear end gone
Not sure if it will disintegrate trying to move it
cheers
Warren
will try to get a much better complete shot of it
And no gauges.
Hi Kurt
Could you match the broadcast sheet to the car by a sequence number alone ?
The sequence number is not unique; it repeats....
OK Thanks
Body number (from the trim tag) would be unique to a LOS-built car, or do you mean a firewall crayon sequence number, often 3 digits?
The 'crayon marking' as the body moves thru the plant is generally referred to as 'sequence number'... as in my Camaro has '18' on the LHS shoulder (under the fender)...

Not for 1969. Both plants were on the same order entry system.

Yep that didn't come across as intended; what I meant was that LOS production ended well before NOR production saw the body numbers reset around the (anticipated) end of model year, and so there couldn't be 2 LOS '69 Camaros with the same body number, unlike NOR.
Hi I am referring to the one letter 3 numbers stamped
on the body tag , not the body VN number on the same tag
On The damaged broadsheet I have , the box before where the serial number would be looks to have the same 3 numbers but no letter
It very hard to see and am trying to get better photos
To post
Thanks for the help
Would that be the projected build week??
P165 is the stamping on trim tag -build date is 24/4/1969 from NCRS
??
LOS Body scheduling code: http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml#b
P165 = P represents the 21st of April (assuming April is the month the body was built); The 21st of April is the 16th production day (corresponding to the P). 165th body to be built that day... so body was built 3 days prior to final auto assembly completion day (24 April)...
if I did this right?? I don't normally see LOS cars in my area...

Approximately 16th day of production for the month. 165th body for the day.
You're right Bryon!~ :)
seems I can't count on my fingers!! :)
I corrected my post...
It's ok Gary, I had to check and then re-check myself - twice!
In the Engine RPO box there is a single letter... should be a G.
G = 302
Can't read RPO box
trying to read sequence numer box
original photo
that didn't show up very well sorry
