On the sYc site they are talking about the chrome pillar post covers on YS760. Was that a Rally Sport only cover or were they also available on Super Sport cars.

Someone will chime in with more exact knowledge/ The 67 chrome plastic pillar post covers were part of the deluxe interior package but were a separate part or order of that package. At this time no one reproduces these covers. Mine were in tough shape and I painted them interior color.

I don't think the RS had those as standard. It was part of the Z23 special interior group. Both my 67's are SS/RS and only one has the chrome pillars. I had mine restored using vacuum metallizing by Chrome Tech USA. He charged $75 per side. I was very happy with the results. I have tried the chrome paints but they were a complete waste of time and money.

Long time ago I was told they only came on convertibles. My car had a set on it when I bought it in 1995. I'll have to find them and see if they are OEM's. Live n learn.

I see them listed on HBC's and Ricks websites, so someone must still be making the repros. I've no idea of the quality, but hopefully improved over the years. The ones repopped years ago seemed a little poor quality compared to originals.
