Title: 1969 Camaro convertible late build no “X” code on trim plate

I have a 1969 Camaro convertible late build, September 1968, it has no "X" code on the firewall trim plate.  Is this rare?   Why no code?

Not rare. For reasons unknown, Fisher Body no longer coded X44 converts starting March '69.
