Hi Camaro experts:
I'd like to get some Rally Wheels for my 1968 Camaro and want to make sure they are as close to the originals as possible. I've taken the attached two photos from CRG website and would like to know if someone can advise what it says in the center cap. Just can't make it out. Many thanks. Tommy 68

Ah, the hunt for original rally wheels! I know it well! First look here to see what you car could have been ordered with http://www.camaros.org/suspen.shtml#Wheels
Pay close attention to the Drum/Disc! The drum wheels do not have enough clearance on the inside for the disc calipers. Then figure out which months would work for the build of your car (6 months prior is the rule of thumb). Also, the different width wheels take different sized trim rings, so you will need to figure that out once you know your wheel size. Caps are normal 68/69 versions, lots of options to buy them.
Then start hitting, ebay, Craiglist, swap meets, Camaro forums, etc. Luck on the hunt!
PS, if you have aftermarket disc brakes, factory disc wheels may not fit, need to take measurements or just buy a wheel to try it.
Unless you really want the 14,s the FW,s are plentifull and mostly what you will see at cruise ins and local shows.
I have a set of 15X6 DF wheels ....service dated but should work for the disc brakes and are also correct for a 68 Z28.

I'd opt for the 7" rim. FW 15" rally wheels are plentiful, fit great without offset problems if you want a 15" rim, otherwise get a set of YJ's, which are '69 14 X 7's, proper offset, disc brake wheels.
