Seems kind of cool, would take some money to make it right but you don't see them like this much anymore.
He says he has the build sheet, but no photo of it? in fact, no photos of *anything* which might help to verify...
Too highly priced for what he's advertising - non original engine, no proof of anything else.. but if someone is close enough to check it out it's might be a good idea..
So based on the the crumpled header panel, grille was replaced with a black one? (shouldn't it be silver?) And emblem left off? Build sheet would more likely be a LOS car? Spoiler added? What is that shifter? Never seen one like that?
Worth investigating further. I've seen rollers out here that were legit Z's, exchange hands for north of $25k so if it's real his price probably isn't that far out of the ball park. If it's spent it's life out here it's most likely a very solid example to start with.

Kind of looks like a super shifter but shorter. By the looks of the boot & carpet, I'll bet there's a huge hole....Joe
Most I see are either total hulks or restored dont see too many with the day two look to it. Used to see a lot of them like that in the late 70s and 80s. Would be neat to see the build sheet/broadcast sheet.
Appears to have a front Endura Bumper, but missing the bumper guards in the rear....
He emailed me a pic of the broadcast copy. I can make out the code for the shocks to be PS which I thought was the correct front shock code for a Z. I can also see a pulley code of CG, which also looks correct. I forwarded the email to Gary, he can resize it better than I can.
Here are the two copies of the Broadcast Sheet which Austin sent me, reduced in size to fit our requirements... I made no attempt to clean it up or make it more legible. YF front springs, E70-15 tires, all legible indications are that the sheet came with a Z28... I read the color as '65' which should be Olympic Gold? Cortez Silver would be 69. Does anyone have the VIN of the car to check with the sheet?
Looks good. Thanks Gary.
Bullitt,
Do you have the VIN of the car to verify against the broadcast sheet?/
I thought G code on engine was for a Z. My fender extensions had GM on them
Gary, I'll see if I can get a pic of it.
He sent me a pic of the trim tag as well as the build sheet - I can upload later, but here's the details:
12437 VN
711 65 65
02B 1035
So appears it's been repainted. Olympic Gold originally.
And assuming the Build Sheet is from the car, has E70 15's....CZ Alternator, YF Rear Springs....65 65 paint code. All seems like a legit LA built Z.
Well, the broadcast sheet VIN fits into the date code on the trim tag: for VIN 124379L523313
I see info posted off the trim tag but was the body number: 243628. If so, this is the broadcast sheet from this car.
