what does a original oil line fitting that screws into the block on a 69 Camaro  smallblock with factory gauges look like

Maybe you could post a picture to see what you believe to be the correct configuration.
What many use is this and it meets all judging requirements that I'm aware of.

Appearance wise the one you list from HBC is correct, but the ferrule and nut is not.
