Title: Knippelmier Classics Blanchard Ok
Post by: dalekerr on April 26, 2018, 07:55:13 PM
Has any member ever dealt with this dealer? I am getting the Camaro bug again, third time and am looking at a L30 they have.
Would anyone be willing to go look at the car and give an honest opinion before I get serius and make an offer?

Do not make an offer until someone sees the car!

Please post a link for the car here, and if you have a vin number and any extra pics or history of the car.

TOO many guys have been getting ripped off, take your time, make sure you vet any purchase. It will be well worth it

Here is a link. Believe me no offer until car has been inspected by me or someone who knows what to look for.

I don't see any RS hose stuff. Maybe converted to electric ?

Well it would be nice to see some pics of the Stamps. firewall tag showing the original color, motor stamp and trans stamp, rear end. Also is there any original paperwork included?

First things I notice about the pics:
-Great color with the vinyl roof, (make sure you verify.)
-RS, but as mentioned I don't see the vacuum lines, so converted to electric?
-aftermarket Hurst linkage installed
-The seats have been recovered, but very poorly. Not really pulled tight, and may need new foam.

Looks like a nice car, I would make sure the body is in really nice shape. The 4 speed is definitely a value adder of about 5-7k, so verify it is an original.

Let us know what else you are able to find out. You should be able to get a lot more information, before anyone has to make a trip to the dealer.

Ok here is a link to the vin, best I could do with a text picture. Appears to be original?

Trans is not original case # 3925656. Best I can tell from an six cylinder car?

Headlights are now electric

They claim  car was totally restored nut and bolt?

Hmmm, i couldn't see the VIN with the link.

Not the original 4 speed would be a deal killer for me at that price.

Did anyone notice the 67 emblem on the header panel? Also i cant see the vin in the link or trim tag, would be curious to see if the chrome grille is correct for the car.
