Hi everyone
Anyone know the whereabouts of a 02D 1969 SS/RS L78 VIN 124379N608599? I used to own the car (early '90's) and last I heard it was sold by RK Motors. I have some old pics and info on the car.
Any info appreciated.

Last I know (2008), it was being restored. NOM, Jerry appraised it. I see that RM auction in 2012.
car had its' original engine and rear, was missing the trans. Car was a factory SS/RS, L78, endure bumper, Z23, G80, 3:55, gauge, no D80 car
This one ?

I would love to see your old photos....Joe
I don't know who installed it nor when, but it has a restamped block in it.
not sure..when I owned it back in 1991-1997 was definitely original pad stamp TO0221 (? going off memory..lol) and block with VIN stamped near oil filter..not sure why it would be restamped?

I think everyone else on this site has an idea why?

I think he means because it had the original numbers motor in it when he had it. Not a re-stamp at the time.
Hi all
Anyone know where this SS/RS L78 is? I'd love to chat with the owner. I will try to dig some pics up of it when I owned it (92-97)
Greg
I would also like to see your old pics. My 69 was Olympic gold from the factory. It was blue when I bought it
BTT...still would love to find this car again...

Would still love to see the old photos you have.
Kool 02D built car, about 4024 unit from my 02D car.
Here is the car in the early '90's
I need to take pics of some actual pics I took when we pulled the car apart...think I still have a bunch in a 3 ring binder...

Wow, looked great in all black! I saw it get put together at Camaro Specialties, turned out very well. It only had a restamped trans in it when we assembled it.
Hi.. yes.. the trans wasn't original to the car.. think it might still be around though..
Any idea where the car is.. would love to get it back
