Hello this is my first time on this site, and I hope this is were I am suppose to ask the question? I am currently restoring a 69 Z28 Camaro, and am looking for an engine block. I have owned the car since 1974, but sold the block, not knowing what I had to put in a faster engine. My question is, there is a DZ block on e-bay but I am a little curious on the pad stamp. V1105DZ, could you fellas with more experience give me your comments. E-bay item # is 252892238746. Thank You in advance, I hope this is the right spot.

Sparky1.613, Darrell was not asking you a question about your camaro. That is a part of his "signature". There is a line separating his post and his signature. It is an open question to all that read, it in hopes to find out more info about 68 L78's if someone knows about them

Post #107 onward. When buying a block that does not have a VIN on the pad from that time frame you seek, I would look by the oil filter very carefully. It may be a Los (Van Nuys) engine? Norwood cars during that period should have the VIN on the pad
