Was there a power seat option for the 67-69 Camaro...either factory or dealer option? I saw what looked like a power seat track at Rick's Camaros when in Georgia, but have never seen or heard of one on a car. Was this a proto-type that never made it or does this option really exist. If so, anyone got any pics of it?
No Power Seat option on the Camaro, but there was on the Firebird. I found one once at a wrecking yard many many moons ago and snagged it for my (now long gone) 68 RS. Basically a one wire hook-up to the fuse box. Worked great! One of the things Chevrolet should have offered on the Camaro.

Ed, Are you aware of an aftermarket version? Did you swap the entire seat, or did it replace the manual mechanism?
Tom
Tom,
I swapped the entire seat. Back in the 70's I didn't care about originality!
There are lots of power bucket seats out there that could probably work. If I were you, I'd take measurements of what I currently have and then go down to the wrecking yards and see what they have. You should be able to find something that will fit, even if it's just the mechanics.
I don't know about aftermarket. I haven't heard of anything.

I know a 4th gen power seat will fit nicely in a 1st gen car. I installed one in my coupe and the front bolts fit perfectly but the rear bolts need to be drilled as well as the one outside rear bolt needs to be reversed. Not too bad of a mod install.
As for the power seat on display at Ricks in Georgia. What is that from?
New for '68 Firebirds had a 4 way design available...
