The ad lists VIN 124379N526781. The protectoplate shown is for VIN 124379N634868.
Be sure to ask about that.
Shhh your not supposed to look that close to the numbers on the protecto plate ...
I asked... ::)
we will see if I get a response. ;D
The ebay ad has been revised.
So it sounds like just a mistake then.
well I did ask for a motor stamp, vin tag and firewall tag pic..... Maybe he does want to sell it. How do the stamps look on that dark pad?

V0408DZ can't tell for sure if it's good or bad .. can't see broach marks
The value matches the protecto plate, and the protecto plate VIn matches the VIN they post now. The cowl tag 'date' is consistent with that, but appears that someone 'blasted' the cowl tag...
Pretty sure those are hardware store VIN RIVETS.
I can't see that block stamping very well with that dark photo but from what I can see it looks very much the same as the block that I have even with exact same date. The location and size look almost identical.
Color change hurts as does the incorrect rear stripe treatment. Not sure why so many guys add style trim chrome on the X77 cars.
50k and up, those things need to be correct, IMHO.
