Some lucky guy just spent $60 for something he could have purchased from one of the MANY vendors for $15 (for TWO)!
Listed as a 3899716 DEFOGGER KNOB (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Corvette-Original-Rear-Defroster-Defogger-Switch-Knob-1968-1973-/201529569378?hash=item2eec193062%3Ag%3ARBkAAOSwFNZWzi6a&vxp=mtr&nma=true&si=UjXtupiD6arbKisNhi5cO8wzoiQ%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557), you can see it's really nothing more than a beat up old 1967-1968 Camaro radio knob!
And by the way, when he gets it, he'll find it WON'T fit on the shaft of his defogger switch (trust me, I tried!!)

Ed, he'd probably prefer to crow about the super-rare part he just "scored". :-(
You're absolutely right John.
