Of note: repro brake booster with repro 69 master cylinder; has 4053 not 3910 carb & 68 cowl plenum air cleaner.
Photos of engine pad inconclusive but is 0320 (March 20th) for a 5B car - early?

I'm not nearly as versed on 67's as I am on 69's... however should the rockers be black?
It's got roof rail drip molding which would be a style trim car... correct?

FYI this car does not have 3L (Z22 RS) on the TT - so no black out rockers :)

Hello James, first post here @ CRG for me. Sorry :) Drip moldings were included with Z21 along with the wheel well moldings and side pin striping, which this car doesn't have.

How can you tell that's a 68 cowl plenum air cleaner ? Is there a difference between 67 and 68 ?

Yes, '68 Camaro cowl plenum air cleaner assemblies have an indentation at the front of the air cleaner for air pump clearance. '67 cowl plenum air cleaner assemblies do not have this indentation. You can see the indentation in the two engine photos from the listing.

67 air cowl plenums are easy to find compared to smog pump indented ones so that is Puzzling on its use.
Thanks Paul, funny I've never noticed that indentation....stands out plain as can be w/o a smog set-up. :)
I wonder if the OTC/ "service replacements" didn't have the indentation ? I noticed Clem's old car (Evening Orchid) doesn't have the indentation. He mentioned he purchased and installed it on his 69Z.
Gars68tux - I'm no expert, but I don't think the 69's needed the indentation - the smog pump is installed under the alternator.

The original pictures of white highlighted trim tags I have seen look like they where sprayed with a smaller pattern, like from a rattle can. This restored car looks like it was done with a larger spray pattern from a paint gun.
The rear leaf springs also look like they got a liberal coat of gray paint with over spray on the rubber bushings.
Must be an old restoration before a lot of knowledge was out there.

I'm no expert either, but I don't think a cowl plenum a/c was optional in 69. It would've been OTC, so who knows for sure what you would've got ?
Would it be possible this 67Z may've had A.I.R. (K19) installed originally, and therefore the indentation in the a/c ?
I looked at a 67 Z that was sold new in California and those cars had a.i.r. on them

Per the CRG report on Emissions systems: "In 1967 (as in 1966), emissions equipment was required only on cars sold in California. The California cars were fitted with an AIR system (Regular Production Option (RPO) K19), and the PCV system (RPO K24). All engines equipped with K19 had unique engine codes due to the required holes in the exhaust manifold(s)."
1967 Z28's with option K19 (AIR) were stamped with 'MP' rather than 'MO' on the engine pad (again per CRG).
