1968 CHEVROLET CAMARO 327/275 HP ENGINE
ENGINE PAD; VI113ME
DATE CODE K97
MANIFOLD 3919803 DATE J247
ENGINE RUNS FINE IT WAS REMOVED FROM A 1968 CAMARO TO REPLACE WITH A BIG BLOCK
MISSING CARB AND FUEL PUMP
I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL POWER GLIDE TRANSMISSION THAT I CAN SELL SEPARATELY
I thought the suffix code "ME" was a 327 210 hp two barrel engine. I have never seen one with a partial VIN before. Was 68 different?

The engine is a 327cid/210hp (LF7) engine as stated in my original post. Kurt just copied and pasted the seller's description from the listing to show the engine was probably removed from it's original chassis. Yes, in '68 all Camaro engines got stamped with the partial VIN...

The seller is incorrect about the engine application, it's a 327cid/210hp (LF7) engine. The 4-barrel intake manifold was installed after the car left the factory.
