Saw this over on sYc: http://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/enthusiasts/10081-mile-original-owner-1969-chevrolet-camaro-z-28/ar-BBiZnp4

Looks like a 05A car.
Looking closely at the engine compartment, I wonder since the smog was removed if for some reason he replaced the air cleaner, or if it did get delivered without a sticker like the new owner mentions. I like the deluxe interior, and less the console or gauges. I am guessing it only had a speedo and gas gauge, and that is why the tach got added .
Hopefully someone can direct him to our site to post some pics.
I thought by 05A a Tach was mandatory. My 04C has no Tach.
Well it is possible I am mis-reading the firewall tag. It looks like a 5A, I am also factoring in that looks like it has a factory side post positive battery cable, but does not look like it has the chrome tail pipes.
Looking closely there is not a center fuel gauge. So it was only a speedo/gas gauge cluster.
From the pics I saw, there was no way for me to read the cowl tag. Are there more pics somewhere else?
Several things have been changed under the hood.
The story is listed on many websites now. I think the hotrod website you can expand the pics, and then I further zoomed in after that. As I said I could be mis-reading it.
There definitely has been some items changed, the removal of the smog system being the largest, but not to many changes. Still seems pretty original.
