I did a search for the VIN both here, TC as well as Google with no results. Seems like some really nice original paperwork for a well optioned 69 RSSS car. Would be nice to see it reunited with the car.
VIN 124379N650677

Unless I'm just plain clueless..which is possible. Just why in the world would anyone pay that kinda money for doc's ? Unless it was actually the paperwork to your car then I can understand. Since it went to a winner by bid that tells me that it's not for the actual car. So what's the reason for wanting, it's most likely recycled metal by now.

That was my next guess.... for another FAKE !
So what would happen if someone uses this to fake a car? Would the Dash VIN have to be faked? And what happens if the the real car with the identical VIN shows up or is registered somewhere already? I guess the faker is willing to gamble on this?
Just has to gamble long enough to sell it. Plus if the other one shows up he can say " well mine is real, here is the protecto plate".....
