Does any body know in April 67 when you got floor mounted shifter at no charge for your manual 3 speed transmission (part of Pacesetter sale) if you got the heavy duty 3 speed trans or if they put floor shift on # 3858986 Saginaw standard trans?

I don't know, but I can't imagine that they'd include a premium-cost heavy-duty Muncie transmission free with a low-performance powertrain just to get a floor shift.
Just wondering why the AIM only shows floor shift for heavy duty trans? I have two 67 original 3 speed shifters one has letter T on shift handle other does not, not sure which one is correct for the standard trans?
What page in the AIM?
Have you read this: http://www.camaros.org/trans.shtml#3speed
Mike
67 AIM page 313 & 314
My AIM is pretty old and I can only reference by UPC's.
What is the UPC?
Thanks,
Mike
Mike, its UPC M13. I did read that section on 3 speeds, I did not see anything about floor shifts for standard Saginaw 3 speeds only column shifts

You should look again: "It was column shifted unless a console or RPO M11 floor shift was selected."
M11 was the floor shift option. It took a standard M15 trans and made it floor shift. $10.55.
I don't see it in the AIM.
Anyone ever seen a window sticker for a pacesetter car? L6 window stickers are rare to begin with....
How about this, a little pacesetter ad from 67.
