Title: 67 RS Headlight Doors slow to open
Post by: Aussie67rsss on July 03, 2013, 05:35:50 AM
Can someone please tell me what relay this is ? My 67 RS Headlight Doors delay opening and wont close when switched until the ignition is turned back on. Do I need a new Headlight Relay and if so is it one (or all) of the three mounted behind lights, drivers side?  Many thanks

That's the horn relay. The 3 light relays should be under the drivers fender bolted to a bracket

Near the top left of this page, run an Advanced Search using the terms 67 headlight relay.  You may get a few older threads that are useful.

That is the way they should work.Mine do the same thing. As for slow operation the motors might need to be rebuilt or replaced.
