Post by: BillOhio on October 10, 2012, 12:21:34 PM
I have been looking and no luck. Anyone know what the correct part number is for front brake pads for  a Z? Seen sets on ebay claiming to be right but different numbers

Unless you have JL8, the front pads are the standard single piston 1969 disk brake pads P/N LD52 (http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/SB00/LD52/03351.oap?year=1969&make=Chevrolet&model=Camaro&vi=1434753&ck=Search_brake+pads_C0068_1434753_2978&keyword=brake+pads&pt=C0068&ppt=C0009) or equivilant. The same pads were used from 1969 through the early 90's on a TON of GM cars and trucks.

My '69 P&A list the original part number as 5468768.

D52 was the generic part number when I was a counter person. Super common fitting a TON of GM cars.  Nothing special at all.
