This Lemans Blue 1969 Camaro was built the fourth week of January 1969 at the Los Angles vehicle assembly plant. It was "born with" a 302/290 hp engine (DZ code), M21 Muncie close ratio transmission and 3.73 positraction twelve bolt rear axle.

It was originally shipped to a small town near Fresno - Marten Chevrolet and Oldsmobile in Reedley, CA. Around 1988 it came to The San Fernando Valley about 5 miles from where it was built! A man named Merle DuPrey bought it Merle was very well known in So CA as a Camaro collector of cars & parts as he had a very large collection of both now advance to 2011 Merle sold the car to, this is where the story is special! Roger Rodas and Paul Walker (from Fast & Furious) bought the car from Merle.
