Here is a national ad for the 1970 Z28 introduced in late February 1970. Notice that there is no hyphen or slash in Z28 for the 1970 model year.

Here is a 1970 Valvoline ad featuring the 1970 Chaparral Camaro.  It appeared in the program for the October 4, 1970 running of the Mission Bell 200 at Riverside International Raceway, Riverside California.  It's interesting to note that their are no front or rear spoilers on the car, so the picture must have been taken early in the year, perhaps in testing at Hall's personal test track in Texas.  I wonder if this ad appeared in all of the Trans Am programs throughout the year?  The ad also mentions Jim Hall as a driver but by the time this ad appeared in this program, he was no longer the driver of the car.  This picture appeared in a thread on this website.

Here is a 1970 ad for Valvoline featuring Jim Hall and his Chaparral Camaro.  It appeared in the October 31, 1970 edition of Competition Press & Autoweek.  I found the picture on the 1970 Trans Am season thread here at this website.  It was posted by Jon Mello.

Now it's time for the Firebirds.  Here is a Champion Spark Plug ad from 1969 that shows the Daytona 24 hour class winning and third overall 1968 Firebird of Jerry Titus and Jon Ward.  The race started on February 1st and finished 24 hours later on February 2nd, so the ad could have appeared any time after that.

I failed to mention that the previous ad appeared in Car and Driver and that it is talking about the 1969 Daytona 24 hours.

Here is a national Pontiac ad for the 1969 Firebird Trans Am.  The car was introduced at the Chicago Auto Show in February of 1969 so the ad must have appeared sometime after that.  The ad in my collection is a three page, fold out ad on the inside cover of the May 1969 edition of Car and Driver.  The one pictured is a little different but probably appeared at the same time.

Now it's time for Dodge.

Here is a 1966 Quaker State ad that features the 1966 Dodge Dart of Bob Tullius (and his Triumph TR-4).  It talks about him winning the Marlboro 12-hour race at Marlboro Park Speedway, Upper Marlboro, Maryland on August 14, 1966.  This was the fifth race on the 1966 Trans Am schedule.
