Does this emblem look a little high 68' Z/28

This is a nice car. But can't ya do some research before drilling holes? Anybody in the hobby knows that ya should at least go look at another car, or picture of one at least. GEEZZ!!.... Maybe it's just the light and it just SEEMS to high. What do ya 'all think??   Danny

The middle surface of the hood is a bit too high as well.

Guards on the front of this turd are British Green underneath,car was originally British Green.
Speculative at best,but maybe they are original to the car.....if so,the one on the car in your picture are in the wrong place.

Maybe it's one of those new magnetic emblems. Stick it any where.
