Weve had some requests for this one over the past year or so and it will be the next project we look at.  Hopefully we have enough to work with from the original copy.

I get pictures of various decals sent to me on a regular basis and unfortunately I cannot remember who sent this original as I would like to give him some credit.  Im assuming it was from a member here.

If you look at the pictures below you should get a good idea of what we enthusiasts are dealing with when it comes to some of this stuff.  On both repros you could literally go line by line and find errors.  Most of these would be spacing and alignment to the lines above and below.  How about adding an S to the word Emission on line one?  Lets be honest, not everybody cares about correctness of decals, but we cater to those that do care.

Weve done several of these Emissions Decals in the past and hopefully this one will come out as good as the others.

Don,

My car has the original still in place, but unfortuantely I was wiping down many years ago (back in the '70") with a rag with thinner on it.. and it took off the lettering..  but I can measure the size for you if you like.... unfortunately no more letters..
Oh. . and you can put me down for a couple....

Here is an old post from the Yenko site. I have the pictures on a hard drive and can find them later.

I would like a couple when you get them made, I know they will be Right On...

Please do.  I can compare it to the size I was given previously which was approximately 6 1/4" by 1 1/2".

Mickey Your car is a BB correct? If so this is the wrong decal for your car.

Don,

I emailed you the pictures. I did not have much luck resizing them to fit. Maybe you could configure them like the ones you posted, just see the difference between them.

Don:  I just measured carefully using a machinist' steel ruler with 1/32 gradations.  The dimension of my original label is:  6-1/8" wide x 1-7/16" talll, and it has 1/4" R on the corners.   This one is 43 yrs old, but has been out of the weather and out of the UV/sunlight  in my basement garage since 1980;  It could have 'shrunk' a little over the years, although no signs of that were evident.
