looks like some of the shifter parts may have been changed on the trans levers , it looks like someone used the Hurst type clip which ruins the original molded rubber bushing The trans lever rubber bushing should look like the rubber on the shifter levers Did it have washers and cotter pins on the shifter end of the rods? the rubber on the shifter levers looks to be in very good shape
On the shifter mount plate the two hex bolts look correct but the 3rd bolt is normally a philps button head screw which is needed for clearance
On the side of the shifter , should be a number with a date code
the car looks to be in great shape

I noticed in one of your replies you said the dist was a 111480 dated 9A20 (Jan 20 1969) and the engine build date was v0922DZ (Sept 22 1968?), something doesn't sound right.

0922 is the engine assembly date. The block and or heads casting date would tell if it is a 68 or 69. Since the distributors were made in batches, I am not sure if a 8 month sepearation between the dist date and the engine assembly is unusual or not, but the rear is also a 09 15 assembly date which is correct.

Build date is Sept 69 not 68. Also has a 6000/7000 tach, most info out there says the changeover to 6000/8000 took place much earlier. havent had a chance to look under the dash as of yet for the harness codes None of the items were ever changed as per the original owner. .
