1969 camaro z28 brake booster mounting nuts
« on: February 08, 2012, 01:47:14 AM »
Are the mounting nuts on a 1969 camaro z28 brake booster supposed to be a shouldered nut or a nut with a lock washer?

1968 and 1969 AIM's say a nut and lock washer.  My 1968 has the nut and lock washer.

The booster bracket-to-firewall attachment uses plain nuts and split lockwashers, and the master cylinder-to-booster uses prevailing-torque Stover nuts (no lockwashers).
