Trunk Lid Decals
« on: January 31, 2012, 11:41:19 PM »
I have glue in my '69 trunk lid where some kind of decal was stuck. Does anybody have an idea of what kind of decal might have been put in this location. I've never saw a decal on the left of center.

Not factory.  But that doesn't mean some tire dealer couldn't have put a warranty sticker, etc. in the trunk.
...So, Paul may not be that far off... maybe not STP but Advance Auto....  or Sears....

Cause that would be under the hood...
Or covering a rusty spot on your back bumper just above tbe black smoke mark from the exhaust...
Not in the trunk!
 :D ;D  :P ::)

  I think your question was answered in the first reply by Phillip.  I would just clean the the glue off with Goo-B-Gone and  forget it.

It's all OK Mike.  8)  Paul was just giving me a hard time cause my old clunker is a SS 350 instead of a prized Z/28 302.  ::)  You can't tell it's ever been there now. I was replacing my decals the other day and took out pictures to put them in correct places and noticed this. I didn't think it was factory but I wanted to make sure.
