I am restoring a 67 conv. the rear quarters were replaced several years ago, I am getting ready for paint and noticed the window gap is 1" on both sides. my body shop has a 69 conv. and the gap is 1.25-67 had bench a seat in the rear and the 69 had buckets I think. Could this be why the gap is differant, is 1" correct for a 67 conv.

Thanks, Now I know why my doors don't fit quite right. I only have a 1" gap supposed to have 1.25. Did you know the engines and therefore the tunnels are set off center to the drivers (side i believe) in these cars. For what reason I don't know?
