Correct 69 jack shaft color
« on: November 20, 2011, 12:34:59 PM »
I have read that the shafts were Cadmium color (silver) and Gold Dichromate like the brake booster. I don't recall seeing any gold ones maybe because it was all worn off by the time I saw them? But anyone know if both colors are correct?

Thanks

Lawrence

Steve can do it what ever color you need when you find out. Im sure someone will chime in. In Jerry's book he list Gold or Silver for the jack shaft.

Very sure gold and or silver is correct. Mine have always been silver and like you I cannot recall ever seeing a gold one but suspect the finish wore over time.
