My quarter window is stiff, hanging up and seems to jam sometimes to a point I have to actually pull up on it to get it to roll up. Anybody have this problem? My regulator and tracks are all good and no slop anywhere. Any ideas how to fix this?

Do you have a fisher body service manual? All the adjustment procedures are in there.

I have adjusted the window so the fit is right. My problem is the stiff places and the jamming up so I have to pull up on it.

Had a similar problem on my 68.  Even though everything looked ok, turned out to be a worn center shaft on the lower nylon roller.  Not a difficult repair job if you take your time.  Took out rear seat, removed quarter trim panels & watershields, etc.  Degreased mechanisms, replaced all rollers, regreased, adjusted, etc.   Have you replaced the quarter trim panels or weatherstripping recently?  Sometimes the aftermarket stuff does not fit correctly, & causes binding.   Anyway......degreasing & relubricating the mechanisms can't hurt.

Doing a restoration and we're putting it back together. I haven't got any molding on it so it's not hitting or catching anything.

Can we assume all the old lube was cleaned from the regulators/guides & they were checked for wear and before reassembly the correct lubricants were reapplied as specified in the Fisher Manual?

I have had the same issues and it was the roller.

It could be loose or broke. In my case it was loose and the roller was moving around on the glass causing it to jam up.

They make a special tool to tighten the washer nuts to the glass.

It has two prongs on it and is relatively inexpensive.

It's best to take ou the window and inspect off the car.

Got it fixed. I guess after all the moving around, taking apart, cleaning it had a pinched place in the track. It was small enough you couldn't see it but you could feel the bulge like it had been stepped on or something.

Sometimes what seems to be inconsequential turns out to be the grain of sand that stops EVERYTHING!!! Glad you got her fixed!
