Pontiac Firebird and Camaro axle tubes and differential
« on: October 29, 2011, 10:44:06 PM »
Were these parts made at the same place and painted the same way as the 69 Camaro? The reason I ask is because in last months American Muscle Machines their is a 69 Firebird chronicled in the Restoration Profile. The article stated there were three different shades of black on the rear end. The article gives the paint he used on each piece which I found to be useful if applicable to our Camaros.

Firebirds used Pontiac built axles. Camaros used Chevrolet built axles.
