3903352 block
« on: May 23, 2006, 10:07:26 AM »
Question????? I noticed that CRG for the 67 L48 engine has two block castings listed, the "2657" and a "3352" I have seen all kinds of discussion regarding the 2657 block, but nothing on the 3352 block. Was this block casting ever really used on the 67 SS?

Well, Alan Colvin's book lists that block as used for 327's only, from mid to late model year 1967.  210(unverified) and 275 HP.

I looked into CRG's data base and to date, we do not show any 3352 blocks used for the L48.  I do see them being used on quite a few L30 engines.  This is not to say that it could not have happened though.

Daniel:

That is what is confusing to me, when you look at the CRG 1967 Model ID. Under the block casting it shows the 3892657 or the 3903352 for the SS L48. I have only seen the 3352 used in the 327 application for 67.

Typo error????????????
