Macungie, Pa.

Just got back from the Macungie AACA type show. I hadn't looked before to see what the feature car was this year, it's Camaros. The show ends Sunday, tommorow. If anyone is close by they should get there, some nice looking early cars are there. Besides you can stock up on perogies while there.

Car corral had nothing of interest for me, mostly just used cars. The flea market was about 3/4 full, found a few tidbits, nothing Camaro though. For the feature car I was a little disappointed in the turnout. The feature usually brings out 50- 100 even when it's Hudson or Rambler. There might have been 40 Camaros, several in the excellant range. A BRG '68 Z, a Hugger Orange '69 Z, and a flawless white "69 325hp coupe were the best, IMO. Had several orders of perogies too.

Thanks! We've got the Fall Charlotte Autofair in a few weeks, and I was wondering how suppliers, etc. were turning out.  The Fall Autofair is always smaller then the one in the Spring. Some of the "major players" in the Camaro world seem to be taking a "wait and see" attitude about comng to events.  They are depending on the internet and mail order sales a lot more than shows.
