paint for dash carrier
« on: May 30, 2011, 08:16:09 PM »
Do you need vinyl paint for the plastic dash carrier on the speedo pods?  Also would the SEM trim black be a good color?  I don't think this was originally painted, but I think someone painted mine and I would like to get it looking a little better, it's all scratched an chipped.  If plastic paint is needed is Landau black a good match for this?  Thanks

I think everybody is using Fusion paint on plastic parts. My body man says it good stuff.

Do you know what color.  There has been a change in the Krylon formulas as to sheen.

I just got off the phone with him. He said to use Satin and put the first coat on a little heavy for cover and top coat with more of a dry spray to get the right sheen.

He said it's been about a year ago so if the formula changed in the past year it would be the old.
