Well I lost my car. Had to let go of my dream car......... 1969 Camaro O2D RS Z/28 X33... What a HUGE bummer to say the least. Got to drive it once. Here's a couple pictures of my car. Or should I say what USED to be my car..... Danny

Just about any First Gen would be hard to part with but this one must really hurt! Ditto on what John said.

Thanx everyone.... It's a long story, that really, I guess doesn't even matter. The bottom line is that car is gone along with many other collectibles to mumerous to list.

I have many parts for sale in my storage. I know we are not supposed to sell parts here. However I sure would like to give the CRG guys a shot as everyone here has been so helpful. Maybe the top guys will let me list the items. Then everyone can contact me directly for pictures and description. Then we can delete the post after a few days. Anybody have a better idea? Maybe a separate link to all the items?.......Danny

Bummer-drag. Danny, don't sell your parts so fast, you may feel differently later. Your next Camaro may need some parts, or they are good for trading for what you need. You could sell them latter. The story does not matter, but it seems you are still alive.... it could be worse.
Wish you the best.

Sorry to hear of the ordeal your going through Danny. I too have a 69 RS Z. I've been able to hang on to it for 35 years this month. I've gone through 2 wifes and God knows how many girl friends, But it's still in my garage. Now my son's want it. One day one of them might get. But for now I think I'll hang on to it. If you do have a list of parts I'm always looking for something. Maybe I could help you out and you help me in return. Fell free to PM me at:  cam1969@cox.net  I hope down the road somewhere Danny you can maybe get another 1st Gen. You got to have something to look forward to. Take care and good luck.

I feel your pain. I was heart broken when I had to sell my first 69Z back in 1975. I got my 2nd chance 28 years later and have had many offers but will not part with my current one.
Keep your chin up and be thankful your still above ground! There are worse things in life! if your so inclined email mjk302@earthlink.net

And again, I greatly appreciate the kind words.
I will start the list. Give me some time. I think I have about 30 nice items. All real GM and nice condition. And all for a 69' Z/28. Mostly smaller parts but someone will need them, that's for sure. I hope to some day get another car. And VTFB68 has a point. But there is just no way I'll be able to get another cat like this any time soon. And frankly, maybe never. I have $700 in my savings. That's about 74 thousand three hundred dollars short  ;D  Keep the email addresses coming and I'll make a list happen as soon as I get some time.......Danny

Well, in short, what happened to my car is I got myself into a finacial contract that I was unable to complete. The car is online for sale at this time owned by someone else. And I made a foolish mistake cause I got stars in my eyes without thinking smart first. I have only myself to blame and I have not any excuses..... Danny

The fact is, even though we love them, they are just another possession. And when necessary they are an asset that must be relinquished. Atleast you had it to cover the situation and didn't suffer a worse fate. It (our something) will come back around. I know if it came to it all mine would be gone in a flash if needed. Keep your head up. You can come drive my junk anytime you want, of course we may have to put it together first. oh yea, mopar346@yahoo.com what else would you expect my e-mail to be.
